Counselling in Euxton, Chorley – A Safe, Supportive Space for You
Are you struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or the pain of grief and loss? Life can feel overwhelming at times, but you don’t have to face it alone. I offer professional, person-centred counselling; helping you explore difficult thoughts and emotions in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
As a qualified counsellor, I provide therapy for individuals dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including bereavement, low mood, and ongoing emotional distress. My approach is rooted in the principles of Carl Rogers, which means you will be met with empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard—key ingredients in building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
I also specialise in supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those who are diagnosed, self-identifying, or simply wondering if they may be neurodivergent. As a neurodivergent counsellor myself, I understand how important it is to feel truly understood and accepted for who you are.
Whether you’re seeking help with anxiety, depression, grief, or exploring your neurodiversity, counselling can offer a space to reflect, heal, and grow.
Wherever you are in your journey, I will walk it alongside you.
My Story
I came to counselling through my own lived experiences—the kind that shake us, shape us, and sometimes leave us wondering who we are. Like many people, I’ve faced periods of anxiety, grief, low self-worth, and feeling lost. I know how isolating those experiences can be, and how powerful it is to have someone truly listen—without judgement, without trying to ‘fix’ you—just to really hear you.
That’s what led me to train as a counsellor – I wanted to offer the kind of support I once needed myself: a safe, grounded space where people can explore their inner world, speak their truth, and feel accepted exactly as they are.
I work from a person-centred perspective, which means I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you—to hold space, to listen deeply, and to support you in discovering your own insights, strengths, and direction.
As a neurodivergent person, I also bring lived understanding to my work with neurodivergent clients—whether you’ve had a diagnosis, are self-identifying, or are exploring what neurodiversity means for you. I know how it feels to move through a world that isn’t always built with your brain in mind. And I know how important it is to be met with compassion and authenticity.
I truly believe in the potential of counselling to bring about meaningful change—and that healing looks different for everyone. Whatever brings you here, I’d be honoured to be part of your journey.
