Counselling for Anxiety, Neurodiversity, and Emotional Wellbeing
A calm, supportive space to talk, feel heard, and begin to move forward—at your own pace.
I offer counselling face to face in Euxton, Chorley – or online anywhere in the UK – for adults experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, low self-esteem, and those moments in life where things just feel a little too much. You don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out, Counselling can offer a space to reflect, heal, and grow.
I specialise in supporting neurodivergent individuals. This includes those who are diagnosed, self-identifying, or simply wondering if it’s a possibility and want to explore it. I understand how important it is to feel truly understood and accepted for who you are.
Wherever you are in your journey, I will walk it alongside you.
You might be here because:
- Your mind feels constantly busy or overwhelmed
- You’re struggling with anxiety, depression, or low self-esteem
- You feel stuck, lost, or unsure what direction to take
- You’re navigating Autism, ADHD, or another Neurodiversity
- You’re feeling misunderstood
- You just need somewhere safe to talk – and someone who will just listen
I offer a gentle, collaborative approach to counselling, where you can explore your thoughts and feelings in a calm, non-judgemental space. Based in Euxton, Chorley, I support clients both locally and online.
You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or unsure of yourself. You may be navigating ADHD, struggling with low mood, or finding it difficult to make sense of where you are right now. Sometimes, it’s not about having a clear reason—just a sense that something doesn’t feel quite right. Whatever you’re carrying, we can take the time to explore it together.
Our sessions are led by you, at your pace. There’s no pressure to have the right words or a clear starting point—just space to talk, reflect, and begin to understand things in a way that feels right for you.
How it works:
Step 1 – Initial Connection
We begin with a free 30 minute introduction session. This is a chance for you to ask questions and see how it feels to talk.
I’ll introduce myself, and talk about how I work, and if you want to talk about why you are seeking Counselling, you can!
If you’re happy to proceed, we will talk about how the sessions will work, and, if you feel ready, book in for your first session. This is entirely non-obligational, and you can change your mind at any time.
Step 2 – Your First Session
In your first full session, we begin to gently explore what has brought you to counselling. There’s no expectation to share everything straight away—we go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
You might not know where to start, and that’s completely okay. I may ask a few gentle questions to help guide the conversation, but there’s no pressure—this is your space.
It’s also a chance for you to get a feel for how I work, and whether the space feels right for you.
Step 3 – Ongoing Support
Ongoing sessions offer you a consistent space to talk, reflect, and process whatever is coming up for you, always at a pace that feels right.
Over time, we may begin to notice patterns, explore thoughts and feelings more deeply, and gently make sense of things together. Some sessions may feel lighter, others more emotional – and both are completely okay. We move at a pace that feels safe and manageable for you.
There’s no fixed path or expectation. This is your space, your time, and your journey; and I will walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
My Story
I came to counselling through my own lived experiences—the kind that shake us, shape us, and sometimes leave us wondering who we are. Like many people, I’ve faced periods of anxiety, grief, low self-worth, and feeling lost. I know how isolating those experiences can be, and how powerful it is to have someone truly listen—without judgement, without trying to ‘fix’ you—just to really hear you.
That’s what led me to train as a counsellor – I wanted to offer the kind of support I once needed myself: a safe, grounded space where people can explore their inner world, speak their truth, and feel accepted exactly as they are.
I work from a person-centred perspective, which means I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you—to hold space, to listen deeply, and to support you in discovering your own insights, strengths, and direction.
As a neurodivergent person, I also bring lived understanding to my work with neurodivergent clients—whether you’ve had a diagnosis, are self-identifying, or are exploring what neurodiversity means for you. I know how it feels to move through a world that isn’t always built with your brain in mind. And I know how important it is to be met with compassion and authenticity.
I truly believe in the potential of counselling to bring about meaningful change—and that healing looks different for everyone. Whatever brings you here, I’d be honoured to be part of your journey.
I’m a qualified, fully insured Counsellor, and Accredited Member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: What if I don’t know what to say, or where to start?
A1: That’s completely okay, and more common than you would think! We can start with however you’re feeling at that moment, or with why you’re coming for Counselling, and go from there.
Q2: How many sessions will I need, and how often do I have to come?
This varies for everyone, and we would review together at your pace. Some clients start weekly, then move to fortnightly or monthly – and some the other way round. Some clients only feel they need a couple of sessions, depending on what they’re coming for, and some will be more long-term.
I do not specify a minimum or maximum number of sessions, nor frequency; I work with you so you can get the most benefit from your sessions.
Q3: Is everything confidential?
Yes, everything you share is treated with utmost care and confidentiality.
Q4: Is Counselling right for me?
If you’re unsure, that’s completely okay. We can explore this together in an introduction session.
Taking the first step can be the most difficult, and you don’t have to do it alone.
Over time, you may begin to feel calmer, clearer, and more able to move forward.
If you’re ready, or even just considering it, then you’re welcome to reach out.
